Membership Agreement
As a buyer, I understand I am absolutely free to use a buyer’s agent. However, I am hereby choosing to forgo the use of a buyer’s agent and instead will work directly with DEATON INVESTMENT REAL ESTATE (the seller’s agent).
I understand that by joining the Investor’s Network, I am telling Deaton Investment Real Estate that I have the knowledge and financial wherewithal to professionally and efficiently move forward with purchasing a property from contract to closing. I hereby request that Deaton communicate with me directly and provide me with information about the physical and financial history of the property, as well as current market information, to reasonably assist me as a buyer.
I also understand that I am free to work with a buyer’s agent when pursuing a property not listed by Deaton.
I understand that DEATON INVESTMENT REAL ESTATE is the listing agent and seller’s representative for all properties on which I am receiving early notification. Furthermore, I will read, sign and initial The Working With Real Estate Agents form (available on the Form page), acknowledging Deaton is the seller’s representative. I will return this form to Deaton as soon as possible with the understanding that Deaton cannot show me a property without receiving it.
I understand that if I choose to use a buyer’s agent, Deaton cannot communicate directly with me. Thus, I do not agree with these terms and conditions and will not fill out the accompanying form. Instead, I will have my buyer’s agent register by referring them to this page and the terms of the Agent Membership.
